So now in Indiana you cant daily drive an old car with YOM plates daily , but you can daily drive on antique plates. I guess the perzonalized plates issue has been addressed.

If I had to make a guess I would bet it was because too many people were abusing the law to avoid paying registration fees. YOM plates here in VA are intended to be used on collector vehicles. But you see a lot of old farmer types driving their old junkers around as a DD with YOM plates which are clearly not collectable vehicles. This is the type of issue that SEMA Action Network is good at monitoring and informing enthusiasts about. Join SAN today!

Was just ticked as whats the difference if i daily drive my car or once a year , I have paid for plates and insurance. And YOM plates cost MORE THAN regular plates. So it just puts more cash in thier accounts.
