Wanted: cylinder head shipping by boxes

Looking for a pair of boxes to ship heads. Local to Las Vegas preferably

I wouldnt ship them in anything but wooden boxes. I have seen too much shipping damage lately. And the big 3 will do/say anything not to pay on the insurance coverage.

I shipped a pair of iron Pontiac heads by just wrapping them in 3 layers of cardboard and taped them up with duct tape. Worked great!

I take things like that to the ups store and have them box' up and insure them. They've always taken care of everything right. Even the 1 time a part mysteriously disappeared they cover the full insured price which was more than actual value of the part.

I have received and shipped heads in the past in the specific boxes with no issues. I guess I must have been lucky

Home Depot storage tubs with latches work great. One will ship a pair of heads. Zip tie the latches closed.
