1378821969 camaro. As you can see I might have got a little crazy cutting out too much. Where I cut out the holes in bottom right and where the pedal assembly goes. I'm gonna have to find better support for the petals because if I just bolt to that firewall it's obliviously too flimsy. What can I do to have proper support for the petals? I believe I will have to shorten them as well bc the new firewall sits back a bit further. Help please, thanks n advance.

Depending on what thickness of sheet metal your using (hopefully 18 gauge) you can just weld a backing plate of 11 gauge or 1/8 to help stiffen that area where the pedal goes. It'll be fine.

I cut out my entire firewall the exact same way you did, you'll be fine.

Thank u! What about the length of pedal assembly being a little different?

The 11 gauge or 1/8 inch of a support backing isn't going to push the pedals way in and it should be fine. If anything you should tack weld it in first anyways to test fit everything before you final weld it in. Just put your tack welds in places you can get to them with a cut off wheel. Or use clecos or sheet metal screws instead of tack welds to hold everything in place.
