**SOLD SOLD SOLD**

Hi all,
I was at the yard about a month ago and had a new cordless impact wrench to try out and I got kinda carried away.
:yeah:
Picked up a whole lotta sets of LS1 front and rear brakes and just got them back from getting reconditioned. It's all for my fix up the Chevelle fund so here goes. I have sets in red, silver, and black for your Chevelle, Camaro, Nova, etc. All you need are rotors, pads, lines, (killer prices at Rockauto.com on these) and the front adapter bracket to make them fit your spindle. There are lots of write-ups on this mod and there are a couple of guys that sell the adapter bracket from an ebay special at around $35 up to Tobin at Kore3 with a really nice bracket or you can even make your own. These have all been bead blasted and cleaned with new pins, boots, and bolts on the calipers brackets along with fresh grease. The backing plates were cleaned and re-greased with new parking brake lever boots installed. The calipers were rebuilt with new internal seals and boots. Everything was painted with hi temp brake caliper paint. I also will include brand new brake pad clips with each set. The banjo bolts that were originally installed are included to help save a few bucks as well. Overall it's a nice cheap way to upgrade your ride with 4 wheel disc brakes and think they look pretty damn cool. I'm asking $350 a set plus shipping from El Paso, Texas. You figure just a rear brake kit is around $325 and they use that nasty Ford or Caddy caliper with the parking lever hanging off the side. These are much cleaner plus replacement parts are available anywhere. This is for the front and rear calipers/brackets sets with backing plates and clips. They weigh in at about 40-45lbs a box. I've sold quite a few sets before and I've had a few guys that used the shipping from their work to save a few bucks so I'll ship them any way you want. Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking.

Where did you buy the e-brake boots?

I had a hard time with those. Dorman makes a set (part number 924243-$3.65/pr) that can be trimmed to fit but I got a bad batch that fell apart. I got some replacements in but I also found a guy on ebay that sells them with screws. Problem is he sells them at 5x the cost of the Dormans. Search for Camaro parking boot on ebay. Hope this helps.

Can you help the fbody guys who need 2 left rears for the staggered shocks?

Man I'd really like to but it's tough splitting up the sets unless you can find someone who can use all the right side ones. Sorry.

10-4 & I understand completely. You do nice work but if that is the case I don't think these will work for the 70-81 fbody (camaro & firebird) guys then :(

It will if you drill and move the shock a bit. Not hard

I haven't done a rear Camaro conversion yet but from what I've read, it's like Tpichevy said or on the earlier years it'll fit but it's close. Wish there was an easier solution for the F-bodies but that's how it goes sometimes. Fabrication time lol.

Tpichevy,
Please explain to me how that works as well as how to get the bleeder at the top...

Read towards the bottom of the thread and they've got some pics and additional details on it. Thanks.

So do these rear backing plate directly bolt to a '72 El Camino 10 bolt axle flange? I never looked if the pattern was staggered or square.

Yes it's a standard Chevy axle flange. The only thing you have to do is shim the backing plate until the caliper is centered over the rotor. I used a couple of washers on mine but I've seen some guys use the old drum backing plate cut out.
