Mine is a Gun Metal grey and would like it any other color. What if any concerns or cautions should I be aware of before having it Powder Coated. My worry is the high temp to bake the finish. If this is an iladvised approach. Please say so.

Without taking it completely apart I hate to think what 500 or 600 hundred degrees will do to seals and bushings.
I would just get some VHT Ceramic brake caliper paint and paint it. That's what I plan to do with mine. Use the ceramic as it is more resistant to brake fluid. Clean it very well with degreaser and a ScotchBrite pad. Mask the stuff you don't want painted with aluminum foil.
