I got lucky, that everything worked out just right to get it in the magazine.

The actual original color of the car is black. The teal Heritage stripes and side accents were painted on before I owned the car. I took pictures of this car at the High School drags a couple years prior to owning it, which was totally strange. I have several times through my years with the car wanted to re-paint the teal to another color, and everytime been talked out of it, or talked myself out of it...

There is actually a whole different level to the story that has grown from the initial shoot, that I wasn't at liberty to discuss before... and its pretty freaking awesome. I'm uploading some pics and I'll update the post here as it still fits with the title ;)

So the next bit of exciting news....

Detroit Speed and JRI Shocks and Chevy High Performance Magazine have teamed up to take BADNBLK to the next level of performance, in a 2-3 part magazine tech article to install DSE's Speed 3 front end kit, and their Speed 2 rear suspension package!!!! That is correct I'm rocking a full DSE suspension package including custom valved double adjustable JRI shocks with billet housings... YUMMY!

DSE won't be able to run their own 3rd gen in any West Coast events this season, so I will be holding the reins, and flying the DSE flag during LS Fest West, Optima Ultimate Street Car series @ PPIR, and Goodguys Autocross @ Colorado Nationals.

Its a huge honor to be involved, and even more so to help write a tech article for a magazine I have respected for many years.

If you got questions about the DSE 3rd gen f-body parts I might just have the info you need as I just mounted it all up...
