I've been building a 1970 ford Torino and I just can't decide what color to paint it. It's currently in red-orange sealer.

Here where my ideas

1)metallic grey with flat black accents (fender stripes, hood, rear trunk/taillight area)
2)orange with flat black hood (same accent stripe scheme)

I cant personally think of any other color I was really debating on.

The paint scheme to me is one of the most important parts of the build, make it or
break it. So I want to knock it out of the park, as well as give it that "pro-touring" style paint job. I was thinking metallic grey for the longest time but then kinda drifted towards orange, only issue is there are a lot of orange torinos, so that doesn't make mine very unique.

Im gonna post a couple photos I found online and then some photos of my Torino.

maybe you guys can vote on what color looks best. Or if you have a suggestion please comment.

thanks

Go orange, you are already part way there! Don't think I would do the hood flat black though, maybe some black accents? Stripes?

I agree with the orange. While the gray looks nice, I feel like there are so many gray or silver pro touring cars it would be lost in the crowd. Just my opinion and I am sure many will disagree.

Check out some burnt copper colors. Diamer Chrysler has some nice colors

What about black with flat black accents? I saw a new truck rolling around with that paint scheme and it looked hot.

Orange. While a lot of Torinos may be orange. I can't remember the last time I even saw one.
