A time honored question. Do I, or don't I need to install the Four Fluid Dampeners ?
69 Convertible, with all Chris Alston's Front end, Subframe, all components, X brace and Sub-Frame connectors, installed.
is it still advised to re-install the four Cocktail Shackers ? Or can I leave them out.
Thanks Marc

I went through the same thing. DSE subframe connectors and Hotchkis handle bars in the hope that it would tame the infamous cowl shake. I decided to retain the shakers since the car is not intended for track use etc and they would be extra insurance against the shake.

I think it really just boils down to preference. I've seen people who say they ditched them and have no complaints, while others say their cars were unbearable without them. It's a toss up...

I have my shakers in the back but never put in the front. I get the cowl shake at certain speeds and on certain roads. I would guess with SFC and the right bracing to the firewall the shake could be eliminated.
