Hi guys, quick question.
We restoring your ride, is it better to find decent used glass or go aftermarket. I've heard some horror shows on some of the aftermarket stuff. But what's the odds of finding excellent glass. My 69 gto convertible came with factory air conditioning and therfore got the tinted glass. Used door glass is somewhat easy to find. But tinted quarter glass is a bit harder. Gm didn't make a lot of convertibles with air conditioning. Thanks!

Check out Pilkington Classics.... https://www.pilkingtonclassics.com/shop/specialty-glass

I just got front and rear for a 66 Nova, they will even print the old factory correct LOF logos and stuff. Great folks to work with.

I used AMD for the glass on my dad's 70 Camaro, well aware of the horror stories about aftermarket glass.

I was pleasantly surprised though. The glass fit VERY nicely and was nice and flat, as good as original. Which was good, because there is no good original glass for these cars, they all seem to be scratched beyond use. But that with the Nu-Relics kit was a perfect, easy install.

Did you order it direct from Pilkington? If not, which vendor did you use?
