Hey, first post! Is there way to adjust the rear brake bias? I have recently upgraded my front brakes and the rears are not keeping up causing my truck to nose dive/load the fronts. Is there a way to change the 90/10 factory bias? I looked online for an adjustable proportioning valve, but came up with nothing for my S10. The fronts are disc and the rears are drum, hence the 90/10 bias. I would like to keep the drums, but I would love to be able to dial just a little more back into the rears to make up for the better front brakes.

Not sure if this will work on your S10 or not but it might provide some ideas. http://www.thirdgen.org/forums/brakes/591331-cheap-proportioning-valve-upgrade.html
Otherwise there are aftermarket options to replace the factory proportioning valve with an adjustable one. This option might require putting new flare fittings on the brake lines or finding conversion fittings to adapt the lines to the aftermarket valve.

I installed 2000 Camaro front brakes on my 2000 S10 LS 5 years ago and have not had any brake bias problems, as long as my ABS module was working. I did notice a lot of nosedive until I installed new 46mm monotube front shocks; nosedive is now gone! BTW, welcome to PT.com!
