Just went up to their shop in Canton. Both David and Marty are great guys. The shop is awesome and some of the cars there are killer. I loved his wifes camaro and Marty's camaro was just - no words to describe. I will be taking my 66 SS chevy ii there after the first of the year for David to do major surgery on. I can't wait.

Sorry Roger,
I am in Marietta, Ga. I learned of Road Killer Kustoms on here. John Parsons had his car painted there. I have been around for several years just don't post to much.

How about some history on the car and yourself. How long have you owned the car? What mods. Engine? Suspension? Future plans. Paint color? Etc. Please spill your guts.
Oh yeah. These guys will jump all over you without pics.
Just ask Trapin.

I have owned the car for about 5 years. I wanted one for years. Every car that I looked at - I did not want half the stuff it came with. The car I found had been stripped and pushed out in the weather before I bought it. Oh well - only paid 500 dollars. It does not have an engine or transmission. I have decided definitely on a 5 speed. But the engine has been changed in my mind multiple times. I would love to build an LS motor. Just not sure about it. I am into the sleeper look. I want the car to look very ordinary but be quick and handle good. Just not sure the engine fits exactly what I want. The car will have a Wayne Due front clip - another awesome guy to work with. The clip is in the basement. David will try and hide it with a couple of ideas that we have talked about. Will have the car minitubbed and the springs moed inward. Also at this moment I am thinking some 16 or 17" wheel vintique rallys. The car will be painted the oiginal color of Danube blue. It will have the original Fawn color interior. I am almost 40 - several weeks away and have been into cars ever since I was about 13. Oh well that was a little long winded - sorry.
I tryed to post a pic - it would not work. I will try later.

Bill, don't worry. I'm going to the shop Sunday to help David with the Camaro. My motto is, "If it ain't broke, fix it till it is"!

If you go over there, that will be David's excuse not to come to Daytona. I can hear him now, "I had to fix Jim's screwup, I could not make the trip."
Jim, stay away from the shop, PLEASE. :lmao:

lol, you're talking about my "Automotive Art" collection. I've got headers, a complete exhaust, fuel tank, pieces of floor, wheel hubs, hood hinges, dozens of cool little fab'ed pieces of metal, and more. I spent too much time making them to just throw 'em away. So they just sit there. One day I'll get rid of them. Sigh.

Bill - just to let you know my 2 year old says bad tar (car) when I show him pics of your car. Out of all the SEMA pics he has seen he likes your car the most. I think he has excelent tastes.

Hey Jim, I can't seem to find your credit card number around here anywhere. It's time for my 68 to get wheels, tires and hydroboost and using your card seems like the best option for me to stay within my budget. :poke:
If you go to the shop (Road Killer Kustoms) on Sunday, make sure to get the info to David. Since you have such a strong desire to help, I would like to try to make things as easy as possible for you to do so.

Alan, I work over in HGR 300, I am the Maintenance Chief for the C-9 squadron there. I ussually park in the parkinglot closest to Lockeads perimeter road and the gate that connects the two facilities. I have not been driving the car much lately because of GAS prices and now it is cold at 0500 in the morning when I leave for work (with no heat it S#$%'s).

iDOX,
Cool car. It has been a while since I was on NAS. I will look for it next time I go to the other side of the plant. I can understand the driving very little - gas is expensive. Uhhh 5:00am - man you got me beat. Just to early. Tell us a little about the car. Aymore pics?

Car is a Rust Free 67 Cali car, owned it for 13 yrs, was apart for 11 yrs before I transfered to Georgia. The car was Maroon with a Primer gray front end before I got it stripped and reprimed green. It has a SBC with Dutwieller ported Dart II's, single valve relief forged flat tops and a Lunati solid lifter cam. Block is a 010/020 1970 vintage 4 bolt with studs in the mains, crank is a 4340 GM with Eagle 4340 rods. Currently running a BG carb and the obligiatory Bottle (if you see the AZ plates on the car you'll understand). Has a T-350 with a TCI 3000 converter and a 12 bolt with 3.90 gears. The car is set-up for straight line at this time but you never know what is next these days.
