Hi, I'm new to the site and think its awesome. I have a trans crossmember issue. I have 1969 Firebird that has a TCI subframe. Years ago I ordered it for a SBC and a T-56 tranny. The SBC has developed some issues and I decided to swap it out with an LS motor, keeping the T-56. The swap was going well and after a lot of research the following parts were added to the TCI Subframe:
TCI LS motor mounts: worked well
Stainless Works headers: fit great
But the original trans crossmember that came with the TCI setup wont work with the headers.
Does anyone know which aftermarket crossmembers work with the TCI subframes? Thanks.
