It looks pretty attractive at $750 since I need a new tranny crossmember anyhow. Wondering about fit with exhaust, total labor time, etc.

Anyone with experience with these?

I recently installed one of these kits on my 68 GTO. It took me the better part of two days by myself. I had to spend a lot of time getting the C- Channel straightened out to get the boxed portion to look right. It looked like my frame had been jacked up 1 too many times on the drives side. I cant really say anything about exhaust as I have none at he moment. Overall I was really happy after getting the install completed. Also read the instructions and do as they say. It stresses not overheating and warping the frame. I took a lot of measurements before and during the install and it was crazy how much the heat was affecting the chassis while boxing the C channel. Most definitely a big improvement over the stock frame. Looks pretty cool too!

I'm using the similar concept HPI chassis bracing in the 65 el Camino. Elco's have a boxed frame already, and I ordered my kit sans boxing plates. Needed a little jiggery pokery due to the factory boxing continuing the footwell taper- had to shorten the intermediate attachment arms to get the deal to fit, but in the main, happy happy.

... and a copy of the instructions so you can see what's involved.

Sexy! Thanks.

I'll have the motor/tranny out -- any guess how many hours to do this with the body still on vs. off entirely? I'm replacing the fuel line and body mounts so I guess I'm most of the way to having the body off anyhow...
