Does anyone know if and LS3 radiator and cooling fans will be sufficient enough to cool my 350? I am planning to eventually do the swap, but want to replace the radiator now. Also, if you have done this any part numbers? Thanks.

It's been a while since I've looked at a traditional SBC radiator, however I believe the inlet/outlet configuration is different than a Gen III/IV swap.

That radiator and fans should have no problem cooling a 350. Not sure on part numbers, but with the numerous builds on here, should be easy to find out.

The inlet/outlet are definitely different on the LS3 rads. LS3 has the same side inlet/oulet. The stock has one on each side. It looks like I may be able to find another water neck to push the hose to the same side. I'm more worried about it keeping the old cast iron block cool with a 2 core radiator. This would be my first time using electric fans on the old first gen setup. I am in Las Vegas, so keeping it cool when it's a million degrees out is important for sure. Any craetive ideas from anyone helps.

Thanks Randy. I might just have to experiment and see how it goes.

Inlets and outlets smaller on LS radiator, just need a sleeve to make them work. True LS rad is also dual pass, so you will have to find an upper hose to fit the sbc, lower should work. ls rad more than capable of cooling it. we use prc radiators with dual spal fans, never any issues.

I started the swap today. Old radiator out and new radiator came today. It's at the machine shop getting a bracket and petcock put in. So far so good.

The radiator works fine. I had to get a couple of retrofit hoses to make it work, but it's all good. I added another fuse block as well to clean up the wiring.
