Hello, new here, thought I would get some tire info from the experts.

This is what I have to work with, 14 x 7 Rally II wheels, on my 70 Formula 400, Ram Air 4 speed car. The wheels are not going anywhere, I know they are small size, but they are what I'm working with. I am setting the car up with drag racing in mind. So far the only tire I can find is BFG Radial T/A, and they are in 234 60 14 front, and 245 60 14 rear. I want to know what is the best size to run, nothing to big, nothing to small. Something that can hook up traction good, last a long time, and be good on daily driver at highway speeds (80-100+). Anyone have any suggestions?

Setting up for drag racing and driving 80-100 on public highways are two fairly different things. The 14" wheels handicap you even more. The BFGs are probably the best compromise you can come up with, as most other items fall into that same basic type (Dunlop Qualifiers, etc.)

Also search transamcountry.com. Good luck.

when I mean drag and then 100+ highway I just meen something like Z rated tires. I have seen them before on the wheels I have, 14's, but I have no idea what size is the best for me? Could you help me out? I know that FireHawk's are great tires, stickey and wide, and can go over 150, but do not know what size I should look into getting for a 14 x 7 wheel?

I know of no 14" tire rated above S-rated. Sorry.
