I currently have older GW upper A arms (and rear tubular arms) stock disc/drum brakes, 2nd gen camaro spindle, aftermarket springs/Bilstein shocks. I'm looking to convert to coilover and wondering if anyone can make a case for changing to Ridetech's A-arms/kit vs. adding GW lower arms to accommodate Viking or QA1 coilovers. I'm also planning to upgrade brakes at the same time or near future.
This is a mostly street-driven 70 Chevelle with future aspirations for limited xcross/track.
If you were starting with this setup, what would you do? I'd hate to do this more than once or find I want a different setup for the brakes upgrade.
Thanks!

If your referring to the tall GM spindle adapter arms they used to do, well that idea was OK,,,,,,,, sort of but the handling benefits of going with Ridetechs arms, coil overs and spindles will provide you with a complete system where all parts are designed to go together rather than an adapter type set up.
HO racing first developed the modified geometry upper arms to be used with tall spindles and the owner even stated it wasnt an optimum fix/modification but added needed camber gain as ,then, tall ball joints were rare, expensive or unobtanium for the common guy looking for a negative camber gain in turns.
Trust the fact that Ridetech has spent a lot of time developing thier parts to properly work together AND the 1,000,001 mile warranty and awesome tech help prove repeatedly why Ridetech is one of the top suspension companies in the business and has proven time and again to jump in, and actually innovate as they take one of the design leadership roles in performance parts.
AND THEY BEAT EVERYTHING THEY BUILD. IF IT BREAKS THAT IS FIGURED OUT.
Also take a look, for limited performance usage they may have a StreetGrip kit out/coming out. BUT check here, read up, enjoy http://www.ridetech.com/store/musclecars/?subcats=Y&features_hash=V270.V328
