i ordered this cam from comp, but i had them grind it with a 108 lsa. the 110 lsa was a good cam, but to tame. i like a lot of nasty sound. i use this car for road racing, run between 3000 and 6000 rpm, need that torque to get off the corners. the car is a 88 monte carlo, weighs 3000 lbs, 295/50r15 tires in rear, 235/60 on the front, very well balance, no push.

super chevy ran this cam on a 350 sbc with fast burn heads (that is what i have) here is dyno pull. this motor is just like mine. the only thing super chevy did differant was to advance (brings more power down low) the cam 2 degrees, and they picked up 6 to 12 hp and tq in the whole rpm range136667, which is what i am doing with a 108 lsa, but i will run my cam straight up. super chevy did a dyno run with fastburn heads sbc, this cam but a 110LSA. Might want to think about a manual brake setup. Your vacuum is going to drop off considerably.

there is not much left under the hood, the heater and ac are gone, the plastic non ac over the heater hole weighs 8 pounds, no seats except the light drivers seat ( the factory seats weigh about 50 pounds apiece), no carpet, cut about 5 inches off the plastic front wheel covers, saved about 5 pounds. swissed cheese the frame in a few places, but you have to be careful the monte frame is not a stronge frame. carbon fibre drive shaft, small battery in trunk. there might be a few other things i do not remember. this is my third cam with 108 lsa, i did add a extra vacuum reserve canister, setting up there next to the vacuum booster. that is a 10" dual vacuum booster, and if more is needed i could put the 12" dual booster off the caprice.
