Hello,
As asked above, All things being equal 1 piston vs 4 piston, Rear, Manual Brakes

I have a 1969 Camaro with manual disc brakes, Wilwood 15/16 master with older Baer Track4 and Touring rears. These are the Corvette C4 PBR's.

Trying to get more braking force. Would going to a 4 piston caliper have more holding power than a single piston caliper?

Comparing the C4 PBR to a Wilwood Dynalite.

Thanks
Denny

I doubt it would make much difference on the rear, You could go to a 7/8" bore master, that would give you about 13% more force.

Thanks for your input. I had a 68 Camaro with manual brakes and Wilwood dynalites all around, it seemed to better than this car. Maybe it was in my mind haha. Still trying to figure this out

Thanks

When I ran C4 brakes I used 7/8" MC and EBC yellows. Had good braking then.

Thanks, Ill try the higher friction pads first. I just didn't want pads that would create a lot of brake dust.
I know its a trade off
