Hi everyone.
I am looking for my first resto-mod/pro-touringish project car. I am hoping to get my hands on something that runs for a good price, but I understand that may be a tall order. I am a Ford guy, so Fords and Mercs are what I know and would like to build. Anything a little different than your typical Mustang would be preferred, so something like a Cougar (even 71-73 models), Torino, Fairlane, Montego, Cyclone, Comet, Meteor, etc. Also, since I am in Southern California, local would be best (but I will travel a bit for the right car) and it needs to be pre-1976 so I don't have to deal with the smog crap. Let me know if you have something or you know of someone who does.
