My goal to make my project as complete 'home garage built' project as possible. Would you be willing to share materials and how your center consoles are built?

That's my question too as I have watched that video many times as well. I even purchased the 4x8 sheet of PVC sheet when I get to that phase of my project.

All interiors are completely done in Italian smooth grain leather. The leather line that I use is euro leather which is compared to Ferrari BMW and rolls Royce smooth grain leather. Very high end very expensive but makes the interiors look way better in my opinion. Brown interior ran around 5k. The black chevelle ran around 9k this price also included convertible top and paneled trunk setup. Also accessories on console were included like stainless cup holders. USB connections interior lights and stainless speaker mesh. Blue interior was a 56 Chevy 210 ran at 7k. These are all roundabout numbers

Grommets yes they can. You would need hole puncher tool and grommet install tool. I can also install them. Just remove covers from seat and send them over

I have a couple questions if you don't mind. I did an internship in a decent upholstery shop when I was in street rod fab school so I learned enough to do basic stuff at a somewhat competent level but have much to learn.
When I threw my car together to get it on the road a few years back I had good success with custom shaping that super thin cheap junk roll of "carpet" from Walmart or auto parts stores and I was able to get a nice shape and conformity using my wife's basic home use Sears machine. That cheapie "carpet" stuff is junk and my heel wore through fairly quickly. This time around I found you can buy automotive carpet by the yard on ebay and I'm wondering if my wife's machine will plow through that ok?
Can a home machine handle thicker thread like that used on upholstery?
I was also considering using indoor /outdoor carpet from like Home Depot or Lowe's. Some of that I/O carpet is fairly attractive, is usually ultra flimsy/ flexible, and it often has a rubber backing that may provide some insulation factor. I'm wondering if my wife's machine could plow through that, and if so would there be any reason to not use that stuff?
How do I tell what carpet by the yard on ebay Is a good bargain and which is to stay away from?
Thanks for your time and pro insight!

Just thinking out loud, but that first seat design would be cool too if you took the top center section and was able to press down on it and have it pop up as a head rest.

Here is an interior done by one of our customers. The D-shaped steering is becoming more and more popular with the Pro-touring crowd. The formula steering wheel pictured here is the Contrast Cut version with Black half wrap and Pro Style horn button smooth. For more info Click here : http://bit.ly/2f5isIV
