OK, I am no structural engineer but was wondering if this could be done and if it would be more beneficial than the normal subframe connectors. I saw this on ebay for the newer gen camaros

It is a three point subframe connector. I know it is for the newer style and the body is totally different, but could this three point style be adapted designed for a first Gen camaro and if so what benefits if any would a three point subframe connector have on a first gen camaro??

IMHO it would hang too low.

I have a similar one on my 70 Mustang, does not hang low. On a first gen I think it would.

I love that firebird he is building. I want to see more of the firewall.

I wish those connectors existed for my 82 TA 'back in the day'. I had a 2" (and growing) stress tear in front of the r/r trailing arm.
