Well after a week in the mountains climbing, I finally get home and now have to spend hours reading all that I have missed. It is amazing how fast things add up when you do not get to stay on top of them. I guess I should stop writing and start reading. I am glad to be back and now need to get crankin on the car again.

Welcome back Brian. So were you mountain climbing with ropes and all the equipment and using your body or are you talking about mountain climing with bikes? Or even cars? :dunno:

Yes with ropes and stuff. Not what you are thinking Bugg. We climbed Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the lower 38 and some stuff in Yosemite.

You guys thought only wrenching caused bloody knuckles. That first pic is just after I made the summit. The second pic is of Mt. Whitney. It is the one on the right. We climbed the face that you can see. That pic was taken from our campsite. The other is of me and my climbing partner on the true summit. The pic is looking west.

Do not make fun of the dome on my mellon. I had a softball size rock hit it earlier in the day. It is worth the dorkness to save my life.
