New here, ive been looking on here for years but I've never posted anything.
im starting a new build and hoping to have it up and going buy summer. Going for a protouring
auto cross street/track car.
I picked up a project 68 firebird locally , the previous owner started a Restomod build but
lost interest and put it up for sale to try and get some $$$ back.
he put some bucks into this thing before selling, it has a new TKO 600, 12 bolt rear
end with 3:73 gears and a yucon locker. Global west control arms and coilovers, eBay disk brake
conversion kit. A full new stock interior, lots of extra sheet metal, and a ton more.
My plans are to ditch the stock 350 for a GM LS3, add a 4 link to the rear with matching coilovers, change the disk brake kit out to wilwood, squeeze 18x10 18x11 team 3 wheels under it, add some TMI interior parts and a roll bar. Finish up the body work, get some paint on her and hopefully have a fun street/track car.
