View Full Version : Safe clearance for rim/suspension
What is a safe clearance here. Need to get my rims brought inward to get clearance for my fenders. Just don't know how close I can get here. Thanks in advance!

Realistically you can get to 1/16" away and probably not have any issues, but I feel comfortable with at least 3/16. Tires will deform a little though, so those need a little more clearance.

In the picture it looks like the shock mount would be inside the rim and not able to hit the rim if it was closer.

Hey Mods check the above #5 post. Looks a little scammy to me.

I’m not scammy at all. It won’t allow me to put my email in so I did that to break up the link.

I just joined. I don’t think that they’ve given me the approval to post on classifieds yet. And I don’t have permission to post links or anything yet according to the rules, I have to have so many posts.

If you know of a better way for me to be able to send my email, I’m all ears, but right now it won’t allow me because it says I’m not allowed to send links. Just a big Camero fan trying to buy A great camero.

Your fine jlay posted his camero for sale and am very interested. Where is a for sale post I’m not able to comment. This was his last post before he listed his camero for sale.
