Anyone running one of these on their LS swap?

I got one and was going to slap it on but I can't figure out how to make it fit as it bolts on from the back side and have no space..

Curious how you that may have it mounted it..

I have a bracket that I'm reusing from my LT1 t56 so should bolt up same way

Thanks

I have a first gen but I just put a tick master in. I'm not sure what adapter plate you are using but on mine (I think it is a DSE, been a while) I just drilled out the threads on the bracket to fit the bolts that come with the tick unit. I attached the master to the bracket outside of the car since there is not enough room for a wrench behind the bracket, at least when installed in a first gen. Also double check the the length of the push rod as far as the pedal is concerned. From my understanding you're going to push more fluid with the tick master and while it is adjustable, I had to take mine out and shorten the threaded portion from the master to get it dialed in right.

I was in a pinch so that is what I did. If I were to do it over again, I would have used DSE's adapter (http://www.detroitspeed.com/1967-1969-F-Body-products/070434-tilton-adapter.html) that allows you to bolt the master to your current bracket used for your LTI (I'm assuming for a camaro style master). Tick is doing the same thing but their adapter uses much larger bolts.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for the reply... I am thinking I'm going to have to pull off my hydroboost and drill out my plate (similar to the dse one) to match the distance from bolt to bolt and secure it off the car aswell as it requires to be secured from back Side unlike the factory unit which is from the heart front..

So that additional bracket is to push it out further so no cutting is needed just in case the rod is to long?

Man I'm gonna be hurting for space as it is with this master once I get it to fit as it is!!!!

Thanks

The bracket in the link I shared would be an alternative to the tick setup. The tick master you have is just a tilton master with their adapter/bracket on it. If you're tight for space, you're better off returning the tick and getting just the tilton and use DSE's adapter. It looks like its smaller, won't require any drilling and seems to have a better linkage setup. Just my opinion.

still messing with this.. i got everything in and i think the pedal is sticking out to far as i understand from the instructions it should be shorter then brake pedal..

the rod is bottoming out on the pedal bracket so think i got to pull off rod and cut it aswell

I don't know what setup you ended up with, but you may have to do what I did and cut the rod if you're running out of adjustment. It is also possible your hole on the clutch pedal arm is improperly positioned. Unfortunately there are a lot of incorrect specs on the internet for drilling the new hole on that pedal...
