Looking for a cheaper way to do an upgrade on a 69 A Body Skylark.
I am looking at useing the B body spindle and tubular control arms.
Where can I get this stuff?

STOP,and do some research on it before you do the B swap. It does give you decent disc brakes. It also improves the camber curves. BUT it`s very detrimental to the steering geometry. It roughly doubles the stock bumpsteer (which is already poor),messes up the ackerman and slows the steering ratio noticably. You`d be better off putting together a low buck 12"/PBR brake setup with parts from a `98+ Z-28 or TA. MUCH better brakes and no steering issues. If you want to improve the suspension and steering geometry with the stock spindles we can help you with that. ;) Marcus SC&C

I run a b-body spindle and feel that it was a dramatic improvement over stock. I believe that with careful setup you can have a very workable setup with tall spindles.

What have I done?

Quicker steering box
Lower Car
Alignment
new upper arms

No it is not as simple as just swap in the spindles, but what ever is that simple.

What parts will I need to do the 98+ upgrade?

I did the B-body swap as well and I put in a Howe adjustable centerlink so bumpsteer is not an issue. Just another option. I, like Geoff, am very happy with my swap.
