I been looking at the XXR 526 to go on my 1970 Cutlass. The car will have Ridetech Coilover level 2 suspension along with 5th Gen Camaro Brembo brakes. The choice is 20x11 rear and 20x9 front with 315/35/20 and 275/40/20. Do this look like a good set up? I would consider the 18" version but I'm not sure if they will clear the brakes.

Any feedback? I have the RideTech Coilover level 2 suspension system, 5th Gen Camaro 14" Brembo brakes, and HPI Customs K-frame brace kit. Just trying to get this sorted before I leave the country/mainland.

I don't think the fronts will fit. I had 255/45/18 on 18x9 up front on my lowered 69 Cutlass, and they rubbed the swaybar slightly at fill lock. I put small spacers up front and no rubbing when turning the wheel lock to lock at rest, but who knows if they were still rubbing in actual driving conditions. I also had a few contact marks on the plastic inner fenders, but nothing terrible. I just switched to 255/40/18 up front to help prevent rubbing.
275/40/20 would be 1.5" taller and almost 1" wider.
I know the 68/69 Cutlass' had smaller rear wheel openings than the 70-72 cars, not sure about up front though.
With the correct offset, the rear should fit. May need to roll the quarter panel lip, but I doubt a mini-tub will be necessary.

Nick,
Thank you for that information as always. I will go ahead and grab them up and see how it goes. I'm beyond ready to get the car on the road. My wife is ready to for me to start on her Mustang. *Sigh* Haha
