I didn't know how to move this thread from open discussion to here, but here is my question:

So I ordered the Hotchkis TVS it with the adjustable shocks which lowers the car 2 inches, which is fine, but now im finding out any set of tubular control arms I want to order would also lower the car another 2 inches and that is just to low and I wanted to get the ridetech tru turn setup as well, but im seeing that also lowers the car 2 more inches because of the spindles. Any ideas on a remedy for this? are the factory control arms ones sufficient enough with the guldstrand mod? and im lost on upgrading the steering now as well

thanks

I am not aware of any A-Arms that in of themselves "lower" the car. Drop spindles attached to them? Yes. Taller lower BJs? Yes.

You should be able to find A-arms that do not affect the height of the vehicle at all.

But, Hotchkis has A-arms in their full TVS Kit that should fix you up. There are other suppliers as well . . .

most of the Chinese A-Arms have a dropped spring pocket in their lower arms

I went ahead and ordered the matching control arms for the TVS kit, because as BMR sales said I found out the knock off arm do lower it 2 inches by the spring pocket being moved. Hoping it all works like planned!!

Sorry, In my search for my suspension swap, I didn't even consider any Chinese knock-offs. I would suspect there would be other deficiencies as well.

I'm not going to risk my life over a few bucks.

You do pay for what you get . . . hard to go wrong with Hotchkis, UMI, BMR etc.
