Swapping an LS3 into a 1970 Camaro. I'm using the Holley LS Swap kit (engine mounts, oil pan, crossmember, and 1 7/8 headers).

The stock oil cooler will not fit, does anyone know which oil filter adapter will work with a stock subframe?

I was looking at the Lingenfelter adapter.

Thanks

i also have a early 2nd gen and will be installing my ls3 this weekend and got all the same kit you did and pretty close to you haha.. curious to see how your swap works out..

i was under impression we can remove the cooler completely and use the plug for say a 2002 ls1 camaro and be good?

guessing i was wrong on that?

The subframe is out from under the car. The engine and trans (6l80e) are connected The passenger side is spot on, the driver side is up higher. Once I place an adapter or plug the oil cooler (if that's another option) I will see how easy the rest is. Looks like it will rock right into place.

I think you are right, oil cooler can be blocked off if not road racing.

I have a t56 I'll be running so don't need it as looks to run to the radiator... I have to look in my holley pan box but pretty sure it came with a plug

FYI. The holley pan gives you the plug for pan.. but would be nice to tell u a part number for plugging coolant port on block. Need to plug up the block where the cooler hose goes
