if this is in the wrong section I apologize, but as you guys know possibilities are endless for suspension options, id just like an opinion from you guys because my mind is scattered from looking at all the options. Here's what I got, I'm building a 72 nova with a turbo 6.0 left engine and a 4l80e trans, it will be mainly a street car, but will see grudge racing, and maybe a few no prep races, and I'd like to enter a auto cross if that ever comes my way, I don't want to go to crazy on the suspension yet until I know I can actually drive my car well enough, so I was thinking of doing the hotchkis TVS kit and then doing the guldstrand mad with the factory control arms, then I was wanting to add the ride tech tru turn setup with a quick ratio steering box for now. How do u guys think this combo would work together? This is my first real serious build and would like some informative input if possible from you guys

thanks guys!!

what ever base suspension kit you run (TVS, StreetGrip, whatever?), my only advice is run good ADJUSTABLE shocks! run the hotchkis shocks, ridetech shocks or Viking shocks, DO NOT RUN CHEAP SHOCKS, the guldstrad mod absolutely helps the base camaro geometry, the truturn will reduce the bumpsteer, and an AGR 12;1 box and the car will handle well, if you have any questions let me know

Actually I was looking at the qa1 adjustable shocks, but do you have a better experience with the others? Or do you think the hotchkis shocks might be valved better towards the TVS kit? Since it's the same manufacturer?

I will say that I have used all 4 brands, and I only recommended 3 of them, as for valving thats matched i will say you can only vary the valving so much and stay in the confines of a comfortable frequency thats why i always recommend adjustable shocks ...no matter what the build is for....

So I ordered the Hotchkis TVS it with the adjustable shocks which lowers the car 2 inches, which is fine, but now im finding out any set of tubular control arms I want order would also lower the car another 2 inches and that is just to low. Any ideas on a remedy for this? are the factory ones sufficient enough with the guldstrand mod?
