Depending on your budget PRC's through texas speed are an affordable aftermarket casting. GM Performance Parts also sells an extremely reasonable LS9 head that flows pretty well. What kind of cam specs do you plan on running?

Hi,
No camshaft or idea of it yet. Plan is to do it with traditional looking 4bbl intake and with holley tbi self learning efi to maintain classic look.
Use is everyday street and goal is to get as much torque as possible and +500 hp.

A stock ls3 head is a great way to go. Spring upgrade and trunions in the rockers is all that you need to do to the heads. Flowtech Induction does all my camshaft design. Ed has done 10 cams for me over the years amd they all have done what they were speced to do.

A friend of mine is using the GMPP LS3 cnc'd pieces.
Everyone says they shouldn't work on his 4 inch bore 402, last Saturday his 70 Nova went 10.25 @ 131 at the track. They would work even better on your 415.

I'd send the stock LS3 heads out to Total Engine Airflow and have them ported. Tell them your setup and goals, and they'll probably spec you a cam as well. They'll set you up with some .650 springs, 5 angle valve job, etc. and flow the heads.
