Hello,
I was wondering if you have any Original front fenders for a 1967 RS Camaro, are the VHX gauges for a 67 and what color is the back ground?
I know you are wanting to sell everything, but thought that I would ask.
Thank you
Phil

Thanks

Are you separating this stuff out? I'm interested in a 12 bolt for a Camaro. PM on the way.

EDIT: Sorry, I missed that line in the your post. Let me know if you change your mind about separating out.

I think you would need to do a full inventory so the person knows exactly what they're getting for 25k so the math makes sense.

classiccarcustoms
11-15-2016, 12:18 PM
There is 2 building and a 20' trailer full.
I bet over 5,000 items.
If someone is serious, they need to come see in person.
As we all know, 25k is real easy to spend on these parts. I bet there is 25 in 6 speeds and 12 bolts, tilt columns, wiring harness, bear brakes, billet hinges.
You will get the other building and trailer full of parts for free.
Thanks

I'd agree ....a much better idea of the inventory would be best

More specifics about the high-value items couldn't hurt, but really, any serious buyer is going to go look at this in person. He's asking $25k, not $250k, so it probably isn't worth the time it would take to go through and inventory that many pieces.

raustinss
11-15-2016, 08:15 PM
Well the t56 look like stock pieces so really what's the value ....? And the vintage air ..how old..? For what models ...? warranty on any new In box stuff ? . As a business man I want and need to make money and at 90 cents to the dollar it isnt worth it . Yes ok tilt columns.. Condition ? Quarters from who for what ? . To drop x amount of money to fly or drive there for someone who says trust me it's worth it .... It isn't... if you can't provide more bait to the line then...? I'm gone . If you were in business then you should have some idea as to inventory and as to what you've got into it ( percent per year write offs included) as well as invoices to models numbers and age of said Parts. ( stock parts not included).

90 cents on the dollar?
I said there is well over 50k in parts, plus a ton of take off consoles and fenders and more.
Not sure how thats 90 cents, but ok.
pulling ad, listing local.

Thanks

I wouldn't let one guy chase you off. There's a lot of people on here that may be interested. It even peeked my interest but I'm thinking of moving so I don't have room for the parts.

raustinss
11-16-2016, 03:17 AM
Yes don't let me chase you ..m cause that's certainly not what Im trying to do...90 cents was made up but yes the cost will rise quite a bit when you factor in time to go thru it find out model numbers ...inventory everything... oh and move it all possibly across the country or continent

Its O.k.
I had a heart attack 10 weeks ago at 40 years old, I am in good shape and eat the american diet. Red meat twice a day.
Plus I work about 12-14 hours a day 6 days a week. I started making a list yesterday and just got threw half of one of the trailers and the list is 6 pages long.
All the parts that are new were bought in the last 9 months. I am just going to post locally and if nothing, I will pay someone to deal with each item for me. I just don't have the time.
Call Kim At Matts Classic Bow tie and ask here about me, she will tell you the kind of money I spend and parts I have.
But again, I don't have to defend me or my parts, your right 6 speeds have no value, 12 bolts have no value, on and on. Not like I posted rusted fenders and a 10 bolt with a 2 speed for 10k.

Cheers.

Not to pile in on this, but you keep going back to the 6 speeds, tilts, and 12 bolts. But those looked like used OEM 6 speeds, and without a guarantee, they're good as core price only, and full private party on a core T-56 is around $900, at least for the last one I sold. Factory tilts? ~$200 for a used, non-rebuilt piece. Same deal for a 12-bolt, paid about $150 for the last one I got, which once again, non-restored is essentially core value. It would take a lot of 6 speeds, 12 bolts, and tilts to get $25k worth. I understand people wanting to see a more comprehensive breakdown, what the one person who actually paid for the parts might see as a goldmine, some other person might see as a pile of core parts, and opened "new" boxes of parts.

Not being critical, just trying to save you some time ahead because you'll get the same questions at first from the "locals".

That was an old picture. I have 2 RPM built T56, 1 magnum.
like it said one 12 bolt was new from Moser turn key and have paper work for $3,600. They other 12 bolt is a stock 69 Camaro, set up for RideTech 4 link with new posi axles. and disc brakes.

We are all spending more time on this subject then it is worth.
More on and remove this post.
Thanks

FYI If you have any factory tilt columns for chevelle camaro you only want $200. And factory camaro, chevelle 12 bolts for $150. P.M me and I will buy AS many as you have. Thanks

X2. Don't know why you guys are dogging this guy. If you don't like his ad then don't buy his stuff. It really is that simple....

It wasn't dogging the guy ....I have a large sum of money coming in the next month... would love to be able to make a quick return but if I have to spend x amount of money to fly there ..Rent a car and stay for a few days to take inventory... I'm out , my point was to convince someone to drop 25k it would be best if he had a better idea as to what there was , as a business owner he should have invoices . If it's 50 cents on the estimated value of 50 k and then inventory, shipping etc is it worth it? Possibly depending on what there is .... Stock t56's not worth much stock columns and Stock 12 bolts same . Brand new vintage air... yep ...brand new Moser rear yep....rpm trans yep...
A much simpler approach could have been " hey guys selling this stuff , due to a recent heart attack I can't and won't be able to get a proper inventory etc etc.
To the original poster , glad to hear you're doing better and hope you recover fully, I wasn't trying to start something or push you away . Was trying to say "let's see more , let's see where the value is " my apologies for not being clearer from the start . Good luck with the sale locally as that would probably be the best for everyone. If you do decide to break it up I'm interested in 70 chevelle stuff . Thanks , have a good day

12 Bolts for a Hundred and a half ($150)?

How many years ago was that?

I'll take $25K worth of complete Chevelle and Camaro "Core" 12 bolts for a $150 each no problem right now!

I will come get without a damn list of what they are! I will easily triple my money in short order!

Ya'll outta be ashamed at yourself's for dogging this seller.

This is exactly why a lot of GREAT DEALS never get listed for sale to this or other PT websites when somebody really needs to sell.

Who needs all that DRAMA!!!

Don't buy them all!!!! I'd like five or six of the camaro 12 bolts!

EDIT: Heck, on second thought, you buy them and go get them. When you get back, I'll buy five or six at $450 each just for your trouble to get them here.

A vendor had a couple for sale at the local swap meet for $100 a piece, factory keyed Camaro tilts. I bought one for $80, and a buddy bought the other for $80 as well. I don't see why anyone on here building a hot rod would pay over $200 for an earlier non-keyed core when Ididit's are so reasonable. Just because a restored original might fetch $400 on ebay, doesn't make them all gold.

0.5 years ago, once again, swap meet. You can still get parts like this, and besides, how many people here are truly interested in cores? Most of us buy new from a catalog, like my Speedway floater I just got. Old rearends aren't worth the time anymore unless you're going for a restoration. Why mess with old, crusty cores when you can buy brand new? Sorry, once again, unless it's a fully intact unit that's 100% correct for say a 67 Chevelle with a 396, it's still just a core, not gold. I know I got a deal, but I see them more regularly for $500 or so complete on Craigslist. Even then, at 1/2 off that's still only $300. Still not a fortune.

I couldn't give mine away 4-5 yrs ago ...."because it's from a A - body " sold it with a carrier at a swap meet for 200$ ....same with the column, non tilt thou pretty sure I stupidly scrapped it instead of using it as a core for gmtilt.com

Don , you are probably right . As was I with his approach. This was also intended for others thou . More then likely another business being as the amount of fellas that would have this amount of cash and the enormous effort which this will require.

After much debate.
I posted about 12 parts on here about 4 months ago and it worked out great. So i will try it again.
I know some people are going to have there opinion. Like my grandpa said, "if you have nothing good to say, don't. "
I am going to start tomorrow. Pulling parts out and listing one by one.
Any thoughts, should I do like 10 items per post to not clog up the trend? One item.?
Thanks
Eric

X2 as stated above. You'll end up making more then the original 25k you wanted selling one by one I think. It'll just take more time and more effort.

Even though some of this is aimed at myself I'd agree completely... 10-15 will open the door to helping you unload the huge stock pile it sounds like you have. Again I'm interested in anything for 70 chevelle's
