I have a 1969 Firebird with LSX motor and just finished installing your coilover kit along with your spindle and lower control arms. The drivers side front measures 23.5 inches from the ground to the bottom of the fender lip, while the passenger height is 24 inches. The handling and ride quality is great but I'd like to have my car sit at least an inch higher on the driver side. I have the driver side spring as high as can take it. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

You need springs with a higher spring rate. Easy fix. The spring rate is printed on the springs. What does it say?

The springs are 650lbs, they are 8 inches long and I have the single adjustable shocks.

I just replied to your post on our forum.
Do you have the spring adjuster screwed all the way to the top so no threads are left?

650's on a LX motor are just about right and should be slightly higher than what you have.
If you aint out of threads, you aint at the top.

Firebird nose is considerably heavier than a Camaro nose. This may be why you have an issue....

I would contact Ridetech and see if you can install a 10" spring. The rate is not your problem at 650 lbs.

I think the 650 is to light for you car, but if you like the ride and you need more adjustment Ridtech sells a drop cap for the coilover that will give you about 2 more inches of adjustment, cheaper than new springs

Did you ever figure this out? I'm in the same boat and was wondering if you might've tried that cap.

I used the cap and it worked perfectly. My particular application was on a DSE subframe with ridetech shocks. My car had very good balance and I did not want to change the rate.

Cool, thanks. I wonder if instead of using the cap and still having the nut cranked up resulting in all that dead space I could simply use a longer spring. Am I wrong in thinking that an extra inch or two of spring would be preferable to a shorter spring with space fillers? Or does it matter

I asked about the longer spring initially, but the sizes run in 2" increments. They said it would be too long, if you were even able to get the adjusting nut back on with the collar. I believe the collar they sent me was 1". It worked perfect and I didnt have to crank the adjuster all the way up.

Interesting. Guess I'll use the cap until I have enough time to do the global west extended setup. $50 is easier to swallow than $800 anyway.
Edit- Spoke with Matt at MCB and am going to give the collar a shot. He said it would get me 3/4 inch or so, which should be enough to go down a quarter on the spring perch and still end up 1/2 inch higher, which I think will be just about right to get my lower control arm leveled out.
