How do mount this Spindle Duct?

1968 Firebird with Kore3 Big Brakes on GM spindles. I have searched the Forum, All Star's site, and the internet for how to mount the All Star Spindle Duct. I found nothing.
Any of you know how to mount this thing? I don't have backing pates. The only way I can imagine mounting the duct is by sandwiching two mounting tabs between the spindle and the washers. Does this sound right? 133967133968133969

Most would pickup the front steering arm bolt and upper mounting boss bolt with a flat piece of sheet metal, than weld a hose pickup onto that sheet. I've never seen anyone try and use that particular All Start part on a GMSS application, but it certainly looks doable if you chop off the tangs and make a new mounting plate.
