Hi, My name is Paul Estrella and I am an Automotive instructor at Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School. We are a Vocational high school where our students are able to pick one of our 26 shops and attend 4 years of training in that specific area. Students alternate between nine day long career technical and academic cycles. We are in the process of Building a 1969 pro-touring nova. We are trying to encourage young kids to get involve. These students are as young as 14 and old as 18. We are in the process of getting a rendering done, graphics designed by our vision/graphic design students. We will also have the build documented by media students who will be creating a web page and maintaining it. Engineering, metal fabrication, machine technology, automotive, and collision are just a few of the shops that will be in collaboration in building this project and really hoping to get as many young students involved as possible. We will be posting on the project section but still in the process of gathering parts.
