Jack stand placement?

Before i fold my car in half!
Is it safe to put jack stands in rear most part of the car. I mean at the rear of the rear subframe, where the leaf shackles would go.
I have it on stands on the front part of the rear subframe.

I dont have an engine in it so i dont want it to seesaw on me while working on the tubs.

Putting ANOTHER set of stands under the rear shackle area will not hurt anything. Leave the front ones in place. Set the rear ones so they are just shy of the car and shim with some wooden stir sticks. You don't want them to jack the car out of place while working on it. They are just there to "offer" support and keep the car from teetering. :)
