Hey all, new guy on the block. Never dabbled into the world of pro tourers. Figured id start now. Got me a 68 resto mod iv been slowly working on. And decided I want to do this.
Tons of questions as this is a whole new world to me. But I can't imagine that it would be much different than restoration.
So looking to lower my gto, I already have drop spindles and front disc conversion. I currently have 17" weld wheels. Otherwise my suspension is basically stock. What should be my first steps into getting this heavy a body down 1.5 in front and 2" in rear? wheels I'm really digging boss 338 or Foose's similar or torqued thrust 2s. My only issue is sizes with the drop in front and rear especially the front. I don't want rubbing. I can't go smaller than 17s because of my disc brakes. So I researched a little and found that I could run 20s with 7.5 up to 8.5 at stock height. And rears up to 10.
So any guidance or wisdom or previous builds I can go off of to get me started would be greatly appreciated. 133811133812133813133814133811133812133813133814
