I've got the project on the way. I've pulled the 454/4sdp to make room for a '02 LS1/6spd. I plan on pulling the sub-fram seam welding reinstalling with solid mounts, sub frame connectors, upper/lower control arms to go with my WS6 steering box and sway bars. I'm going to put a 235/240 .603/.609 cam, ported 241 heads, full bolt ons, prob 435-450rwhp.

Here are a few shots so far.

Nice bird! I used to have a '79, still miss that car! Check the seam sealer in the rear wheel wells, it cracks up and when you drive in the rain it will fill your trunk. Don't ask me how I know this!

Does your Trans Am have T-Tops? I thought it might by looking at your pics. If so, are they the Cars & Concepts tops? All glass, and meet in the middle? I have a nearly complete set (used) if you do and need parts. Complete with some NOS parts including weather stripping. If you don, sorry to have bothered you, just trying to do a little garage cleaning!
