Th400 to 2004r question

Got the tranny in but forgot to swap the speedo housing. First question, will my th400 speedo fit in my 2004r? If it doesn't, where can I get a plug to just delete the outlet? The diameter of the hole on the tranny is at least 1.5". Thank you

The TH400 will not fit. We have the replacement speedo adapters if you end up needing one, otherwise at one time cobra transmission had a plug you could buy. May be worth checking into.

I measured the hole and since I won't run a speedo cable I just picked up a Dorman 02600 expandable freeze plug so the oil won't spill out.
