I have similar but not that exact "kit". I wish I had researched more as a mustang 2 front end is less than ideal. Keep reading!

I say go for it! And let me tell you why. If you are asking about this kit then you are interested in it. We all know you could easily spend 10k or more on a front end with brakes. You are looking at a $1600 kit. It'll get you on the road driving and enjoying your car. It won't be the biggest and baddest but I think you know that already. Heidts has a good reputation for a quality product. Don't over think it and don't price yourself out of ever driving your car. Just my .02

i am not even attempting to build the baddest. not until i run into jay leno money. i just going for the pro-touring look. any improvement over the original 1962 ford suspension will suffice for me. the reason i'm asking about the kit is not for the performance gains, but more geared towards quality and install.

I suppose I shout have said "my" MII is less than ideal. I know that through experience not the internet. It is fine for me for just driving around town but I want a vehicle that will corner well, that's why I'm on a performance site, pro touring. MII is pretty old technology, I am sure there is way better for "possibly" not a lot more money (you did not mention budget).
