Looking for some first hand feedback on different options that have been used besides the DSE headers. I've been looking at Ultimate, anyone have experience with them on a car?

Stainless works fit great. 3 different cars with 3 dse subframes

Have my second set of American Racing Headers on the way ... specifically designed for DSE subframe (read Note)
These headers are top notch, with great ground clearance

There's also a new long-tube header option for you from the Hooker Blackheart line for the 1st-gen F-body/DSE application; they are available with 1-7/8" or 2" primaries. You can find them on the Holley website...the part number for one of them is 70101329-RHKR.

Good one AB69Z! I am also looking LS header options with the DSE front end.... I'll be watching your thread!

Is everyone just assuming an LS engine?

We have another car at the shop with a 383/tko and dse subframe with stainless works headers and they also fit great.

Any idea if they will work with Speedtech's Pro-Touring Subframe (not the new Extreme Subframe) for first gens. Looking for a 1 7/8" or preferably 2" header for my cammed and pullied LSA.

Thanks,

David

I know this is a old thread, but Hooker makes a header for the DSE sub now,
