Here is my ride. I restored it before I could drive. It had a 200 6 cylinder in it. Drove it through high school then the motor went belly up. So I have been working on it in college. It now has:

Coil over TCP front suspension
Hollow 1.25" sway bar
Stockish 351C
Junkyard fresh C-5 tranny
9" rear end
Granada disc brakes
and other misc. odds and ends.
I also am putting in an EZ wire kit.

I am hoping to finish it up here in the next month. I haven't driven it in the 3.5 years, so I am anxious.

I tried attaching pics but to avail. Try this. (http://groups.msn.com/Workingona68Stang/shoebox.msnw)

sweet car. good to have another mustang.

you tried clicking "attachments" and then browsed to find the pic on your hard drive?

because using the image tags wont work from an MSN album. you could use www.Imageshack.us as a free image host in the future.

Thank you for the kind words. It is much farther along than when these pictures were taken. I hope to have some more pics, in about a month.

Thanks for the pics! That is quite inspiring. I just bought a 67 mustang COUPE just like your 68 COUPE for my girlfriend about a month ago. Amazing what just the wheels did for your car. They look sooo nice on there.

Its nice to see other fords on the forum, that’s a pretty nice ride, I like it, although I’m just not real fond of red. How’s the steering on that car? Any future mods planned?
Why did you go with that wiring lit over stock? What company did you get the sway bar from? Keep up the good work!

When I repaint it hopefully in a year or so. I am going to go with a two tone black over red combo and shave the door handles, along with a few other tweeks.

The steering needs to be redone. I need a new steering box or a rack, but I do not have the money at the moment.

In the near future I will be installing a tower brace kit, and the exhaust system. I have the parts already for the exhaust, 3" X-pipe into 3" Ravin mufflers and then 2.5" tailpipes. Beyond that I am going to drive it alot.

Overall plan for the car is a Lentech AOD or a six speed. A 750 horse Cleveland, six point cage, maybe a mini tub, if I can get 275's to fit up front.

I thought the stock wiring was crap. I figured by the time I added air conditioning, power windows and etc, it would be a mess. So, I upgraded now instead of later. I did not want to pay the 500 dollars for a Painless kit, so I went with EZ wiring.

I got the sway bar from Cobra Automotive. http://www.cobraautomotive.com/

I really like your car I have saved as the wallpaper on my desktop.

Thanks
