Well lets get to it. I bought this car a few years back and am finally getting around to rebuilding it. Bought it off an older fellow who crashed the car into a tree trying to avoid an animal that jump on the road. Anyways, the car looked solid at the time i purchased it but to further/ more aggressive inspection I have found quite a large amount of rot in the undercarriage. So aside from the front end damage its going to need floors, inner rockers, and torque boxes to say the least. Gotta love it when you buy what i call a "lip stick" car, luckily i didnt pay an arm and a leg for the car. The torque boxes and inner rockers were poorly patched and then bondo'ed and undercoated over to make it "look solid." Oh well, it is what it is... you learn from your mistakes, but now its time to fix them. This is my first major restoration/ rust repair I have done to date (probably not the best car to start on but its all a learning/ education for future builds) so if you have any tips/info you wish to share please feel free to leave a comment. Back to the car, its a 1966 convertible 289 C code (2bbl) auto trans car. Springtime yellow with black interior and a black top.
