Brushed bumpers wheels trim and underhood

Love the look of both of these 69's, same look and similar color to how I want my 68.
How did you brush your bumpers? Did you do the extensive nickel plating option? I was quoted over $3500 to do it right.

you can take a aluminum paint and brush it after its layed then clear it. I want mine done with matte clear to make it look like a raw brushed aluminum. not a chrome fan either.

love it, I may give this a try over body-colouring both bumpers, my wheels and door handles are already raw brushed aluminium

For the people that painted their stainless steel trim, what paint did you use? What preparation was needed?
Sorry for Hijacking the thread.

well Ive not done mine yet but a good paint for equipment or something of that nature would hold up the best you need to scuff it promote it and so forth.
