Anyone have this kit on their 1967-1969 camaro? I have ordered this kit and now theres little doubt that will it fit with my tubular control arms, i have some cheap set from ebay but they told me that their own lower arms fit. Just wondering if someone has these installed etc. Heres the link to the kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-1972-CHEVELLE-1967-1969-CAMARO-C5-Corvette-13-Disc-Brake-Kit-Tall-Spindles-/272371582469?fits=Year%3A1967%7CModel%3ACamaro&hash=item3f6a9c8605:g:EM8AAOxy4dBRmte5&vxp=mtr

That looks like the CPP C5 kit. We are running that on our firebird. The pads suck, but I changed them. I'm also running the CPP upper & lowers. I've been happy with the setup.

Thanks for the info on the pads, what brand pads did you chance? I have different type upper&lower arms but hoping that they fit with the cpp kit.

I used a raybestos ceramic pad rated for street/performance driving. I'll try to get you a part# later tonight
I have been looking at this kit and it's looking like a good option. I did see a note on their website that said "Will not work with CPP budget tubular control arms." I'm not sure what's different about their budget tubular control arms that makes them not work.

i asked about the same thing, they answered that the spindle makes contact with lower ball joint area, so i think the arm comes too close to the spindle and in some angle may hit. They said that the arms they make will fit but not sure about the other companies models though.

With this kit on either the '69 Camaro or the Firebird and using the OEM master cylinder and power booster, did you need to add a proportioning valve or did the stock combination valve work ok with respect to balancing the front and rear brakes. I'm putting 13" Corvette brakes on just the front of a '69 Camaro with rear drums. Just curious. Thanks.

Ok, had the brakes installed and everything went fine, about 1/2 inch space between lower control arm and spindle so no worries about them to make contact! I also have some cheap control arms like 250$ for both upper and lower arms and no problem.

Good to hear and glad it worked out for you! Looks like that may be the way I go too.
What master cylinder are you using?

just basic power disc/disc master. I was gonna put the 2013 camaro master but disaded to go with original looks and bought new master, thats because my hydraulic clutch kit has the correct holes to mount behind the master so no need to drill holes to the clutch bracket etc. I bought MSD hydraulic clucth kit, i read that they have longer pedal travel and clutch works great because of that.
