Need wheels and tires for my '70 Firebird project and am wondering if I might be able to catch someone who is thinking about upgrading and is willing to part with a set I might be able to use. Car has DSE subframe and Quadralink, mini-tubs, rear axle 56.25" total width. Looking for 18X10, 6.125 BS, 275 35/ZR18, 18X12, 5.625 BS (I think), 335 30ZR18. If I have to buy new, I'll get Forgeline GA3, brushed lip, midnight silver center or something similar. Though I'm open to other options if I can find something used.

Likely going to be difficult to find a used set of wheels to fit a custom build, with the proper backspacing. So many variables for each car, and if you are going to spend a few thousand you probably want them to fit perfectly. Let me know if I can help, I'm a distributor for Forgeline and carry other brands as well. www.dv8motoring.com

I agree, it's a long shot. But as the saying goes, I won't know unless I ask

I have a 2nd gen project in the works and just decided to make a major change , as such I think very soon I will have up for sale a set of TSW Bathurst wheels 18x9.5 front and 19x12 rear , the rears were welded and widened from 10 inches to 12 inches to fit a fat 345 tire, you will need wheel tubs a little bit bigger than the Detroit speed ones, if you PM me I'll text you pics, They are silver by the way
