I have just installed the DSE rs leadlight kit in my camaro. The electronics work well, but the instructions and design have a major flaw. The instructions say to position the actuator such that the pitman arm can pass under the splash guard bracket without contact. The splash guard protects the motor assembly from moisture and road debris from the front tires. After hours of trying to mount the splash bracket as pictured in the instructions, I finally gave in and called DSE. They informed me that the bracket will not fit with the DSE actuator without "modification". They could not describe the needed modification to protect these expensive actuators.
