I Sucked my throttle plate !

Yep ,, it sucked !! ( pun intended )
1/2 of #6 throttle plate broke in half
and sucked into the cylinder .
as of now, it's suck in between the intake and exhaust
valve. It was in the cylinder , no damage to the piston or
walls,,YAY!! I'll just ball hone the cylinder a bit.
i need to remove my valves to check them and the seat.

WOW! Looks like its brass, probably the only reason it didnt hurt anything.

Coulda been worse, but that still sucks.

In my case, it blew. I made an exhaust cutout valve out of a large throttle body years ago. Worked pretty good (cable operated) till for some reason the throttle body shaft snapped & blew out the plate & part of the shaft. At least it was on the exhaust side.

its a MOMAR there no longer in business,,
and its aluminum,,
I took it to my machine shop today,,the intake valve was bent a bit,,but thats it...
