Anyone used these US Mag Ramblers? (http://us-mags.com/rambler-u111-w-6133.htm) I'm not digging the look as much as Forgelines, but I'm digging the price enough to make up for it. I'm not sure about the back spacing though. Looks like it would be an 18x9.5 with a 5.25" BS on the back. I don't like the look when the wheels stick out past the fender.
What do you guys think?

We put some 17's on a 66 Chevy II recently, they're a nice looking wheel. With any 1-piece cast wheel, they're made in China and will not have the quality like a 2-3 piece US made wheel would have. The paint on the U111 appeared to be decent compared to others I've seen. Not sure if you know, but US Mags is owned by MHT who makes Foose, DUB, Niche, Fuel Off-road, and a couple others wheel companies.

I figured there was a downside to the cast wheels. But at this point I just need some wheels to clear a disc brake upgrade. It will also give me a chance to see how I like the size and the ride before spending big $$$$$ on something like Forgelines.

Not sure what you plan to put them on, but I put 18x9.5 on all four corners of my 68 C10.

Wow! Those do look good!!!! I wish there was a like button 'cause I'd click it!
I can't believe I forgot to mention what they are going on. 1969 Camaro. Lowered 1" to 2". No mini-tubs.

I looked into these as well...the only downside being a lack of back spacing options.

I looked through the gallery there, and particularly at the orange camaro, but without knowing more about the build I don't know if it rubs or if they had to massage anything due to the backspacing.

Yep, that's my concern as well. I'm just not sure if 5.25" of backspacing is enough for an 18x9.5 on the rear.

I had to use 5.75 BS on the El Camino and it barely fits with a 275/45ZR18...

I don't see a 5.75" backspace option in an 18x9.5. Is that the cast wheel or one of the two/three piece options?

Thanks for the links! I've had a hard time finding wheels with the right backspacing that aren't forged. I know they're out there, but most of the sites want to select wheels based on the make and model rather than the wheel size and backspacing. I'm just not ready to spend the money on forged wheels.
Now I'm off to read through your thread :)

Yeah, I looked long and hard for some affordable 17" wheels...the single most obstacle always came down to back spacing availability. These Vision wheels were the best alternative I could find and I was pleasantly surprised with the appearance/quality. I find it hard to stomach the astronomical prices for many products these days.
