I know that the 17x9 Year One Rallys (not sure on their specs) with 275-40's fit on all 4 corners with no rubbing, but that was with SC&C lower front control arms that change the spindle mounting points to center the wheel in the housing properly with increased caster. With stock control arms or UMI, not so sure, you would have to ask them.

I would say that 275's would be the max front, and 285's max rear for those rims. 315's will fit out back, but you will need a 10" rim.
Apparently Nittos fit smaller than all the rest so expect to be disappointed with their look. I currently run Pilot Sports and they look great, if a little short.

The wheels on the UMI Lemans are built to order, not off the shelf. Based on the size you spec'd, I'm guessing you already have a wheel in mind? You need to to know the BS on the wheels, what you have listed above(5x120) is the bolt pattern.

I don't know how to figure out the offset/backspacing well I could if I apply myself...... I just thought they went by inches 2in 3in 4in lip exct.. well this is what I was going for

The ad says 20 offset which if you use an offset to backspace conversion is 6". You would be ok in the rear, the front I'm not sure about. You might run into sway bar interference at full lock. Maybe someone else can chime in?

Forget about doing the B-body swap. That's from the 1980s...The better solution is the Speedtech AFX spindle and control arms...

x2 ... Listen to Andrew. If the budget is tight, do the tall ball joints with factory arms and spindles. Because the B body spindle has the fixed steering arm, the steering arm is in the incorrect position for an A body. The swap fixes the camber, issue but has a negative effect on bumpsteer. the AFX spindle moves the pickup point and relocates the steering arm.

what about classic performance products 2 in drop spindels and there tubular control arms .... any good?
that was my original plan.. to use cpp upper an lower control arms with qa1's coil over kit then the drop spindels if I really needed them.......but I cant believe that dude Andrew replied have u seen his car wholly ****!!!!!! afx spindles are the way to go....? I guess I can do that but thats a big hit in my wallet..... but I cant complain is what it is

I can't speak on them myself, but there are lots of ppl here that use CPP parts. I think the one under the most scrutiny has been their AFX spindle, but that is another story. I think if you can buy a system of parts tha works together on your budget go for it. My budget was non existent as soon as I purchased my AFX spindles from Speedtech

I creeped on your profile to haha I really like your wheels I wanted that bronze colored centers with a crome lip on mine....... I had a plan of attack on what to buy or on what I wanted to do at least I believe I got a good enough idea on what I need to do.......I live pretty close to cpp's warehouse its a 45 min drive with no traffic so no ordering just straight pick up that's the main reason I planned on buying from there well that and my buddy took me down there to pick up a big brake kit for his 68 c10 they gave me a t shirt and a catalog......with the prices they have its flat out 2500 bux together to lower the front and the rear front would come with (no brakes or spindle parts) upper an lower control arm + the qa1 coilover then the rear tubular trailing arms with the rear qa1 coilover kit to..... I get my engine back in a couple weeks then I can actually start working on suspension/tire stuff

Yeah, when I first planned this out 4 years ago bronze wasn't the "thing" now its everywhere. Thats what happens when you take too long to finish a project, looks like you're following instead of thinking outside the box...lol

I hope you don't think I meant you were following me. It was meant to say When I ordered and powder coated my wheels 4yrs ago, black was the think. Jason had never see or done an all Bronze wheel for a muscle car.
And if you're talking about me having an LS swap, it wasn't my first choice. While creeping in my thread you could notice my BBO motor was stolen, but that's where reading comes into play...

Good luck on your project Buddy....
